PHPC Corporate Social Responsibility Activity 1
Sta. Monica Elementary School, Pampanga

Despite the pandemic we are facing today, which is caused by the Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19), the executives of PHPC Co., Ltd. Inc. planned and discussed agendas on how to execute supportive actions that would help in some ways our Filipino citizens — especially at this moment in time — as an essential part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

"Our company aims to continue this kind of program and to widen our scope — not just by merely practicing our CSR, but by having the heart to continue serving and helping people in any way that we can."

The company communicated with the Department of Education (DepEd) to help us look for schools who most need our assistance and help. From Metro Manila, our team travelled to Pampanga to visit Sta. Monica Elementary School, one of the first beneficiaries of PHPC's CSR initiative.

Recognizing the immense challenges that the education sector faced during the pandemic — particularly the sudden shift to distance learning — PHPC identified the critical need for technological resources in underserved communities. As a company rooted in the values of malasakit (compassion) and bayanihan (community spirit), we stepped forward to bridge the gap by donating computer sets that would empower the faculty and students of Sta. Monica Elementary School to adapt to the new normal in education.

This inaugural CSR activity marked the beginning of PHPC's sustained commitment to giving back to Filipino communities. The warm reception from the teachers, students, and school administrators of Sta. Monica Elementary School served as a profound inspiration, reinforcing our belief that meaningful change begins with small, heartfelt actions.

Our company aims to continue this kind of program and to widen our scope — not just by merely practicing our CSR, but by having the heart to continue serving and helping people in any way that we can. This is just the first of many steps in our journey toward making a lasting difference in the lives of our fellow Filipinos.
