Despite the pandemic we are facing today, which is caused by the Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19), the executives of PHPC Co., Ltd. Inc. planned and discussed agendas on how to execute supportive actions that would help in some ways our Filipino citizens — especially at this moment in time — as an essential part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
"Our company aims to continue this kind of program and to widen our scope — not just by merely practicing our CSR, but by having the heart to continue serving and helping people in any way that we can."
The company communicated with the Department of Education (DepEd) to help us look for schools who most need our assistance and help. From Metro Manila, our team travelled to Silang, Cavite to visit Hoyo Elementary School, one of the beneficiaries.
Understanding the challenges that the education sector faced during the pandemic — particularly the shift to online and blended learning modalities — PHPC identified the urgent need for technological resources. As part of our commitment to bridging the digital divide, we donated computer sets that will surely be helpful for the faculty and students in adapting to the new normal in education.

This initiative reflects PHPC's core values of malasakit (compassion) and bayanihan (community spirit), demonstrating that even in challenging times, we remain steadfast in our mission to uplift Filipino communities. The smiles and gratitude expressed by the teachers and school administrators of Hoyo Elementary School serve as a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can create lasting impacts.
Our company aims to continue this kind of program and to widen our scope — not just by merely practicing our CSR, but by having the heart to continue serving and helping people in any way that we can. We believe that investing in education is investing in the future of our nation.
